National Grid customers can replace the energy they use with local renewable energy projects (wind, solar, etc.) New England GreenStart costs 2.4 cents more per kilowatt hour (about 40 cents per day), is 100% tax-deductible, and is billed through your regular electric bill. If you are not a National Grid customer, contact your local electric company and ask if renewable energy replacement is available in your area.

Eco-Driving is a fun way to improve gas mileage. This link has a list of 100+ tips to improve gas mileage. They claim you can improve your gas mileage by 30%. My husband and I have improved ours by 10% in a couple weeks, but we are still trying to make more improvements. Even a 10% improvement at $60 per fill-up is $6 per week, or $300 per year.

Here's a couple highlights. Make sure your tires are inflated properly and, according to one expert, under 45 MPH, open the windows, over 45 MPH, turn on the AC.
